WHAT WE DO

Get STEMulated is a learning program with workshops designed to provide supplementary learning techniques to enhance students' understanding of science, technology, engineering and math principles for k-12 boys and girls and their families. We incorporate engineering, biology, medicine, chemistry, physics and more through experiments to engage our students and make learning more exciting.

WHY WE DO

Untitled design - 2024-02-15T201333.544.png

Over the past 10 years, growth in STEM jobs was 3X as fast as growth in non-STEM jobs. STEM occupations are projected to grow 17% through 2023, compared to 9.8% growth for non-STEM occupations. STEM workers also command higher wages, earning 26% more than their non-STEM counterparts. In addition, STEM workers are less likely to experience joblessness than their non STEM counterparts. And if they do experience joblessness, they are quicker to find a new job than a non-STEM professional.

On our science-based study tours and STEM field trips, the planet becomes the living classroom for high school groups with as few as 10 participating students.

We educate through technology combining the use of computer hardware, software, educational theory and practice to facilitate learning

Participants are encouraged to use natural science, mathematics, and the engineering design process to solve technical problems, increase efficiency and productivity, and improve systems.

We discuss ways to use math skills to find solutions to technical problems assessing data and analytics.
